Starting a career

By “Giok90” Giovanni Di Mare

The career begins with a three-event introductory sequence, the Exhibition series, before the regular championship season. The initial 305 Sprint series is the starting point of the core progression, and the career menu identifies four championship categories: 305 Sprint, Stadium Truck, Late Model and SRX. Super Late Model appears separately as DLC content.

The series-selection screens link Stadium Truck to the 305 Sprint championship, Late Model to the 305 Sprint and Stadium Truck championships, and SRX to all three preceding titles. This makes the championship ladder a meaningful long-term goal rather than a simple sequence of isolated events.

Series selection shows the career categories and championship requirements.

Choosing a 305 Sprint season length

The 305 Sprint menu offers several schedules. The choice changes both the number of races and the tracks on the calendar; it is not simply a shorter version of an identical schedule.

A short season reduces the number of races needed to complete a championship, while a 27-event Regulation season gives more time for gradual upgrades and sponsor earnings. Neither is inherently superior: the right choice depends on how much racing you want to do and how quickly you want to move through the career.
