Team facilities and hiring

By “Giok90” Giovanni Di Mare

The facility is the gateway to more advanced parts and team roles. Each successive level is a separate purchase, and the recorded 305 Sprint upgrade path is:

FacilityUpgrade costCareer unlock
Level 1$1,000Basic facility; Business Manager, Facility Manager and Public Relations Manager roles
Level 2$5,000Rank 2 car parts and Team Driver role
Level 3$20,000Rank 3 car parts

The cumulative cost of buying all three facility levels is $26,000, before purchasing a single new part or hiring anyone. Level 2 is a prerequisite for Level 3, so the final tier cannot be treated as a standalone $20,000 purchase from the start.

Level 3 facility upgrade: $20,000 to unlock Rank 3 car parts.

Unlocking a role is not the same as hiring someone

A facility unlock makes a personnel category accessible, but it does not guarantee that candidates are available. The hiring menu can report that there are no personnel available and instruct the player to improve race results and team reputation. This restriction was observed both for management positions and, after Level 2 was purchased, for the Team Driver role.

That distinction matters for players interested in a management-focused career: buying the Level 2 facility opens the Team Driver role, but an immediate driver hire is not guaranteed. Treat the facility purchase as an unlock, not as an instant way to delegate racing.

Team rating and reputation

The team rating screen shows a star-based progression system. For the second star, the recorded screen displayed a 25% car-upgrade target and 400 fans. Fans and vehicle development therefore appear explicitly in the rating interface, alongside the importance of competitive results for attracting personnel. The exact formula governing candidate availability is not disclosed by these observations.
