GT7 Fastest Way to Earn Money: 3 Best Credit Races with Car Setups

Need credits for that legendary car? These are the three races we use to farm money in Gran Turismo 7, with the recommended car, the full setup and the race strategy for each one. All three pay the same on Hard or on a lower difficulty, so there is no reason to make your life harder.

Note: the method is solid, but payouts and balance can change with future GT7 updates from Polyphony Digital.

Which race pays the most

RaceCreditsLengthCredits per minute (approx.)
Spa 24h Layout, WTC 800Cr 1,500,00060 minutes~25,000
Le Mans, WTC 700Cr 825,00030 minutes~27,500
Sardegna Road Track A, WTC 800Cr 727,50015 laps (~25 min)~29,000

Payouts assume a clean race bonus, which is automatic unless you overtake under a yellow flag and get a penalty. Sardegna is the best credits per minute, Spa the best single payout if you have a full hour.

The intermediate tyre trick

Start on intermediate tyres even though the first two laps are dry. If rain arrives right after you pass the pit lane, you won’t be stuck on slicks and forced to restart. Then watch the weather:

  • Stays dry: the intermediates are still fast enough to win by about a minute. Pit once at lap 4 for fresh intermediates, which also keeps you under 700 PP.
  • Light rain: you are already on the right tyre. Pit at lap 4 for fresh intermediates.
  • Heavy rain (rare): pit as soon as it arrives and fit wet tyres.
